  • Confirm the price and time. The price is based on your vehicle's size and condition, and we confirm it before any work starts.
  • Tell us about the location. Let us know about access, height limits or parking when you book.
  • We arrive and get to work. The team works through the package while you get on with your day.
  • Enjoy a clean car. When the job is done, the car is ready without you having left home or work.

Packages run from roughly 1 to 2 hours for a Mini Detail up to 5 to 6 hours for the Signature, so you can plan around work calls, school pickups or a morning at the beach.

Driveways, carports, garages and the street out front all work. If anything about the spot is unusual, such as a steep driveway or a narrow garage, mention it when you book so we can plan for it.

At work

Plenty of people book a detail while they're at the office. The car sits in the car park all day anyway, so it may as well be getting cleaned. Just tell us about access and parking when you book.

High-rise apartments and underground car parks

Apartment living is a big part of the Gold Coast, from Southport and Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads, and not having a driveway doesn't rule out mobile detailing. Underground and multi-level car parks are often good places to work, since the car is out of the sun and the wind.

When you book, tell us about access, height limits or parking. That's all we need to plan the visit, and it means we turn up prepared for your building rather than finding out at the boom gate.

Paint correction and ceramic coating

Paint correction is priced by quote after we measure the paint depth, and our Gtechniq ceramic coatings start from $495 for an interior coating. When you book, ask us where that work is best done, at home, at work or at the Molendinar workshop, and we'll plan it with you.

Mobile window tinting

Window tinting is mobile too, starting from $295 and done at your home or work. The films offer 99% UV protection and carry a lifetime guarantee against fading and bubbling, which matters under the Queensland sun.

Queensland law requires front side windows to let through at least 35% of light, and rear side and rear windows at least 20%. Vans and goods-carrying vehicles can go darker behind the driver. When the Molendinar workshop makes more sense

Most jobs are done on location, but our Molendinar workshop is available by appointment. It can be handy if you'd rather drop the car off, if your building's car park isn't suitable, or if the weather is unsettled and you'd prefer the car under cover.

Mention it when you request a quote and we'll arrange a time. The same packages and prices apply at the workshop, so the choice is purely about convenience. Because the workshop runs by appointment only, we share the details once your booking is confirmed.

Getting the car ready for your detail

There's very little you need to do, but a few small steps help the team get straight to work.

  • Remove valuables and personal items from the glovebox, console, door pockets and boot
  • Arrange how we'll get the keys at the start of the visit
  • Point out problem areas, such as a stain, a smell or a mark on the paint you're worried about
  • Let us know if pets travel in the car, so we can allow time for hair removal
