  • Clay bar treatment
  • Precision masking of trims, seals and badges

Blue BMW under inspection lights after a three-stage paint correction

Three-stage correction

For heavily marked paint. Two cutting stages, the second targeting problem areas, then a refining polish.

Removes

  • Heavy swirls and deeper scratches
  • Stubborn problem areas

Includes

  • Snow foam pre-wash and iron decontamination
  • Clay bar treatment
  • Precision masking of trims, seals and badges
  • Two cutting stages (the second targeting problem areas)
  • Refining polish for maximum gloss and depth

Not sure which level you need? We’ll inspect your paint and recommend the right one. If a scratch catches your fingernail, it may be past the clear coat and need a touch-up.

Bonnet before and after paint correction: dull and marked, then mirror gloss

About the service

What is paint correction?

We level the clear coat to remove swirls and light scratches for a true mirror finish.

  • Permanent results

Defects are removed, not masked with glazes.

  • Mirror-like gloss

Level paint reflects light evenly for true depth.

  • Perfect before coating

The ideal base for a ceramic coat.

  • Measured, not guessed

Paint depth is checked before we polish.

Our process

How we correct your paint

Careful preparation is what makes the correction safe and the finish last.

  1. Wash & decontaminate

Snow foam, iron fallout remover and a clay bar leave the paint perfectly clean and smooth.

  2. Inspect & mask

We assess the paint under lighting and tape off seals, badges and trims.

  3. Cut & polish

Machine polishing levels the clear coat in one, two or three stages.

  4. Finish & protect

A final wipe-down reveals true gloss, ready for wax or a ceramic coat.

Ceramic coating

Essential before ceramic coating

Applying a coating over swirl marks or water spots locks those defects in under a hardened layer. That’s why we perfect your clear coat before a coating is ever applied, so your protection seals in a flawless, high-gloss finish.

Frequently asked questions

How much does paint correction cost?

Every car is different, so we quote after looking at your paint. The price depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the clear coat and the level of correction it needs. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote.

What's the difference between single, two and three-stage correction?

A single-stage enhancement is one machine polish that lifts light marring and boosts gloss. Two-stage correction adds a cutting stage before the polish to level moderate swirls and scratches. Three-stage correction uses two cutting stages, the second targeting problem areas, before a final refining polish.

Will paint correction remove every scratch?

Correction removes defects that sit within the clear coat, such as swirl marks, holograms, water spots and light scratches. If a scratch catches your fingernail, it may go past the clear coat and need a touch-up rather than polishing.

How long does paint correction take?

It depends on the level of correction and the condition of the paint. Your quote will include an estimated time for your car.

Should I ceramic coat my car after paint correction?

We recommend it. A ceramic coating locks in the corrected finish and protects it from new swirls, UV and contamination, so the gloss lasts for years.
